Who the Bleep are the TAZ?

-Do you know what you want to roleplay as a Temporary Autonomous Zoner?
Trader, I assume, though I don't see why a character can't do more than one thing.

-Do you have a character in mind in which you would like to roleplay? If so, tell us the history and general Roleplay.
I don't have a specific character in mind yet, but I can definitely come up with something. Probably might've been a good idea to do that before now, but eh, I'm spontaneous sometimes.

-Do you have a recommendation from a TAZ? If so, name them. (Note: This is a requirement)
Yes, Alexandria has told me to use her as a reference.

-Will you follow TAZ roleplay guidelines?
Of course I will. (Though I don't yet know what those are, I'm quite sure they'll be reasonable.)

-What is your experience? When did you join Discovery?
I first started playing Discovery a few years ago, sometime in late '06 or mid '07 as I recall. I was a frequent player of the Void PVP server at that time, and as the server was temporarily down, I checked out another large mod - Discovery mod. I tried the RP server (back when RP was optional in New York, to give you an idea how long ago this was) for a while and I thought "Meh, there's not as much pewpew/cash to go around here," and went back to the Void. Around late November of '09 I came back to Freelancer, as I had been playing other games exclusively for a long time, and I couldn't download the Void mod properly, so I checked out Disco again. I've been hooked ever since. My, how times change. /textwall

-Have you roleplayed TAZ before?
No, that's why I'm attempting to join the faction now.:cool:

-Are you in other factions? If so, name them.
I was in the RHA for the longest time, but no longer am due to some personal disagreements. I lead the ICMG (if dead factions count) and I kind-of-am, kind-of-am-not in the TF7 group. I'm also in Nature's Last Hope.

-What will be your level of involvement in TAZ?
I already spend a lot of time playing Freelancer, and if other TAZ members are willing to show me the ropes, I'm willing to dedicate quite a lot of time to this faction. I'm not good with numbers, don't ask me for them.


Zoner Lore :

-According to you, what is a Zoner? (Answer with your own words. No concise answer please. No copy pasta)
A Zoner is any individual that has chosen to identify themselves with the Zoner movement and lifestyle. Most of them live outside of the territory of the colonies/houses for purposes of seeking freedom from the often restrictive laws of more "civilized" territory. In essence, if you seek freedom for yourself and identify yourself as a follower of the Zoner way, you are a Zoner.

-Describe the main asset of a Zoner as compared to others? (Answer with your own words. No concise answer please. No copy pasta)
The main practical asset of a Zoner is their ability to go almost anywhere, and deal with almost anyone. The true purpose of being a Zoner though, is much more than that - it's the ability to be free of any restrictions that others would unjustly place upon you and those that they have power over.

-What is the most important thing for a Zoner in the Sirian community? (Answer with your own words. No concise answer please. No copy pasta)
To be free from any sort of oppression other men seek to unfairly place them under. Neutrality with all is generally the easiest way to accomplish this, but there are some that just cannot be reasoned with. A Zoner that is no longer free is not truly a follower of the Zoner way.
