[color=#FFFFFF]You what Bioware lacks? Dedication to the fans. I don't mean the time of "Oh look this kid has a gay romance banner let's add one to the game + tolerance bonus for the media" I mean the kind where they realize they ****ed up big time and fix things. When the Witcher one came out it was downright horrible, what CD Project red however did was release an Enhanced Edition which fixed the majority of the things the community bitched about. They are doing the same thing with the Witcher 2 now. The thing is the Enhanced Edition is and will be free.
Now seeing how old fans (myself included) enjoyed the majority of the game despite the writing aimed at 15 year olds and some rather lame scenes, were utterly disgusted by the ending and rightfully so. I would have been perfectly fine if the game ended when Shepard died. He dies, it's Shepards story it ends with him dying, you are left to figure out for yourself if things fix or get worse. Instead that ray of hope for Bioware was extinguished by EA's maniacal greed. Shepard is dead yet you continue playing, why? Because otherwise implementation of new DLCs will be difficult, and what the **** was that with Stargazer telling a story? Out of the blue. Suddenly Mass Effect turned to a bad rendition of Star Wars...just like that with a completely pointless scene of 20 seconds...
Bioware could win some fans back though. Release a free DLC to fix the endings. First the more gullible ones will believe they are not all consumed by the hungry tyrannosaurs EA, second people who utterly love the Mass Effect series (like me) will get the ending they deserve.
I know I am over the top bitching about Mass Effect 3, but I just knew something major will brown up the horizon when it came out. And for the life of me I've never felt so betrayed in my live even though I was prepared for it
