Tenth Entry

It has been a good while since I was accepted into the Rheinland Military. So far nothing too exciting has happened, but I hope to change that soon. I need to finish acquiring a few more subtle upgrades before I am assigned a new mission. Since the destruction of that first craft, I have been more cautious. Later today I shall take a trip to New Berlin System to upgrade my ship's ID from my Recruit one to the Military one. I'm short on cash so I think I can try and see if I can take some jobs on the side to get the right Armor upgrade as well... The one I was given was somehow Lost. Just my luck.

It is strange, before I really didn't have these mishaps. I think perhaps that I am being too nervous, anxiety has never really been my thing. Perhaps I am not as great as I had once thought; damn arrogance on my side. Then again perhaps I'm just a touch of a clumsy guy. Just a touch.


Eleventh Entry

I am not sure how to start this, so here it goes. I went on a mission today and met Admiral Alec. When he first contacted me he looked at my name and asked me where I was from. He seemed disappointed at my origins, and my heart sank in fear for a few moments. He said that he would look at my papers, but I was frightened I would be expelled from the military for a second. Didn't I receive word that the High Command had to approve my unique request? And didn't they do so? That is, accept it?

If by some chance I was sent back to Liberty, I couldn't go, not now. I am a terrorist there and I committed treason several times. Murder of over two dozen Navy Pilots, countless law officers and Liberty House traders, I couldn't go back, not now.

Not to mention my Father, I bet right now he is freaking out, unless he still does not know. Surely he has found out by now. My mother is probably devastated, but what do I care? No, I care, still, I think. Why was I blinded for so long?! All the lies and deceit, it was so bright, that it would burn out the eyes of perception and starve me into oblivion until nothing was left but the echoing chaos of my soul! Haha, that was a bit poetic for me I guess.

Anyway, Admiral Alec gave me funds to upgrade my ship's equipment properly, and now I am on par with my fellow pilots. We engaged Red Hessians today, and won. The Admiral then took me to Altenburg where I am now, writing this. Earlier in the day we also engaged Red Hessians, but we lost and were driven off. A lot of pilots seemed to break off from orders and it spilled our death on that battle. We lost.

All in all, it was quite some day. We lost a battle, I was scared senseless and almost completely froze up when the Admiral asked me about where I was from, then we won a battle. Yep, I'd say it was one hell of a day.
