Yesterdays first shift started at Dijon Station. After I undocked, I checked for other pilots on duty, which let me to Colonel Giroux. He informed me everything was fine and that he didn't require any assistance, so I started with my own patrol in Burgundy.
When I reached the RNS Beuvray, two hostile contacts appeared on scanners. It quickly became clear they were two Council Agama's, flying under the "[color=#FFFFFF]GAUL|" tag. Considering I was on my own in a Lynx versus two Agama class fighters, I called Colonel Giroux for assistance. This is when his odd behaviour started. He informed me he wasn't able to provide assistance. Considering he wasn't in a situation that required my help, I was quite surprised by this unexpected reaction. He left me outnumbered, alone, without any valid reason. He even left our shared comm channel, without even asking my status.
Fortunatly, I managed to destroy one of the fighters, "[color=#FFFFFF]GAUL|Gael.Keriadec" very swiftly, evening the numbers. The remaining pilot, "GAUL|Raoul.Lebraque" was clearly a beginner, because I also managed to let one of my mines blow a big hole in his ship.
After the fight, I contacted Colonel Giroux again, asking for an explanation for his odd behaviour. His response was way out of line, and not something that he would normally say. His behaviour concerns me, and I question his capability as a Colonel if this continues.
