Well, I think it's a minor ooRP. How are you supposed to equip it? It's possibly organic in nature then how are you going to connect it to your ship's energy grid? This falls into the same gap as with players of one faction having weapons of opposing faction, we have examples when this behavior resulted in sanctions applied to such players. Though again, I don't care what thruster people use, it's not really that important to be concerned about, but perhaps needs some thought.

The RP explanation is simple: scientists researched the component and how it works, made some changes and adopted it to the mechanical use. So hard to imagine? About player using weapons and components of another factions, I think there is a long debate for that. On the ships matter there is a consent that you should really not use a ship of another faction, but on the weapons and components matter the opinion is divided even among the best RPer's

If I deserve to get a sanction for that, then anyone who uses a nomad weapon (and I've seen MANY) should get a sanction too.

Let's not make this post another long and tiring debate about if players may or may not use weapons and components from another factions, as there are already too many topics about that (and some of them currently active).

Just my apologizes for anyone who thought I was really "cheating"...
