Server and lag issues. (Also lag is one sided.) AKA Your common QQ thread.

So I log on for the first time in a couple weeks and PvP for the first time in a couple of months, if not a year. I heard people on skype these last days saying the lag became more and more intense everyday. Now, I never really had a great connection, but in a group fight I was in earlier, the lag got so bad , everytone stopped firing on my screen and went still (I actually thought I had crashed at first), but when I figured this wasn't the case, I cruised away to get some repairs. Suddenly, my hull starts rapidly going down as I'm cruising, unable to bot or anything. It got ridiculous enough that at one point, my shields were back online but my hull would kept lowering from damage sustained, killing me. My only theory on what happened is that before I went to cruise, I was shot at by ships which were lagging a lot less than I was, but that's still quite hard to believe considering I went in cruise and I continuously lost HP for 15 seconds or so, a period of time which wouldn't have been sufficient to kill me as I was charging up cruise in my barghest, so I believe I was registered as still in the area I was when I started lagging, and someone with a somehow better connection shot me down. I could care less than I died in a fight, but this literally was controlled helplesness. Vito also died from a similar way during this lag spike, and he claims to have an awesome connection which never lags. How come some people seems to have recovered faster from that spike than some others?
