death on the RP server

well - comes to my mind, does it matter how much the equipment is? - if its shot down, its gone - thats how it goes. part of the game - sort of. i had to repair my lvl10 shield for 16mio cause it got damaged in radiation - i could have committed suicide, too.

when its about the ooc in NY - it just appears to much out of roleplay. corsair cruisers at manhatten blowing up liberty navy vessels - i mean, maybe allow ooc chat and transfers, thats OK. its a rather passive action when it comes to roles. but camping a respawn of hostile npcs chainblowing them up - thats quite more than just allowing out of character transfers. i know there must be a place to not roleplay - or to just chill. i don t mind NY being a place for pirates to chill. but maybe not blowup things would be nice... .

the lockout on death.. no, i don t mean a hardcoded lockout. i mean a volunary logout/relog to another char. i m quite sure the server can t do it. but the player can make a rule that a dead char can t play for 30 min give or take. playerrule to make a death, suicide, pvp or npc weigh a bit more. again of course - it can t be enforced if not broadly accepted by the playerbase.
