Shaulanca's-Fury

[font=Franklin Gothic Medium][color=#000000]One day when Jed Kain left for a patrol in the Omega 50 system, he found a faint energy reading coming from somwhere in astroide field. Jed went to check the reading but was unable to fix its position, so he went back with the data of the reading and consulted a brothere tech from the church, after hours of working the tech finly was able to find its origin, so Jed fired up his fighter and went back to space to track down the signal. After a few hours flight he came to the spot where the signal came from, it was a damaged corsair gunboat, Jed was unable to understand how the signal started transmiting as there was no soul onboard the gunboat, he started thinking it might have been a timer that set off the signal, but he understood he cant allow it to transmitt any longer, the thought of an enemy might take interest in it, so he fired a few well placed shots and the signal was no more...

Jed went back to the church and informed a few of his brotheres, and told them about the gunboat and that he intend to restore it in order to use it to serve the faith, so he went off to the gunboat with a few tech and security and repair ship. They worked hard on the gunboat and manage to bring life to it, a few flickering lights and moniter screens here and there, but its still was alive. Jed started going through the logs of the ship, but many of them were corrupted, but by the information he got the ship was on a patrol with a few fighter escort befor they got ambushed by a bounty hunter group, the logs date few years back.

By this time reparis were almost complet, the tech have restored power to most of the deck and engings were operational, but the tech have advaised the weapons to be inactive durring the repairs. Jed went back to reading the logs, by the looks of the information the captain of the ship was miguel cortez, his last logs was about the patrol, he indicate that his ship run into a bounty hunter battle group and he lost his escort in the attack and his ship was damage and was unble to repair it, it was a matter of time befor they return to finsh the job, so his only option was to abandoned his ship, but befor he could put the plan into work the enemy returned and started firing, by this time the captain could only hope for a quick death, but the enemy had othere plans. Jed went back to reading the last entry, looks like the bounty hunters planed to capture the captain they boarded the ship and fought their way to the bridge, and manged to capture the captain and most of the crew that were alive at that time.

The ship was near completion and Jed could'nt be less eager to test it in battle, only one thing remained and that was what to call the ship that was going to serve the shaulanca, for Jed it was about to payback all the wrongs but not only for him self but for her former crew as well, as that time he can only think of one name only Fury...
