Twelfth
I met up with Manstien on the end of his patrol today. Again, I run into him. Strange fate would have it that way. He didn't remember the encounter from months ago before I was in the military, but I guess all is well for now.

On the first trade lane we ran into Hessians pirating, we killed two, and the other two fled. While we were victorious, I think that I might not be lacking somewhat still. I think I am improving, but that's just it, I have a good ways to go. The battle was long and hard on me, but I got the job done. For the Fatherland. Now though, I must rest, my bed calls to me.

Thirteenth Entry

I wrote up and sent in the report this morning. I didn't revise that much, and had many images from the battle that I did not need. It wasn't the best, but very little happened, and I do not know what else I really should of put. I did revise some important details and add others I forgot to mention, made sure everything was consistent, ect ect.

It is getting late now, and soon I will need to rest. I've felt drained lately. I've been thinking of home. Do they still care? Do they yet know? Tomorrow I will try and find out what I can. perhaps I can somehow find some news from 'home' in Denver. Ha! I called it home, this new place is my home now. I can't wait to find out how much my father freaked when he learned. I only hope I am not too late by that time however...
