At least a straight-up criminal like the Rogues or the Outcasts have the balls to admit that they are committing crimes, they just don't care about it.

You however, the minute you are caught you move into this victimized "feel sorry for me" pedestal and directly after move yourself into a fetal position. Screaming like small babies that you are just here to help little poor Johnny. The next day you ship cardamine to the streets of Manhattan.

And the day after that you are caught shipping slaves to Alpha.

Oh and on the third day, when you are all tired from your hypocrite criminal activities, you sit there in your comfy chairs in Rochester and watch the battle between lawful enforcement and other criminals. When they of course get beaten to bits, they run to your little place where they can rest, resupply and once again strike on passing-by convoys.

And what do you do? Nothing. Unless of course some outsider can prove it.

Go burn in hell.
