Ship ID: [FL]-Vigilance
Sender ID: Lieutenant David Owens
Day four and five
Day four: The only notable contact this day was a mining ship with a handle of, IM THE MINER . At first glance it had defensive turrets and we were presuming to see at least one mining turret but saw not a one. The whole mining ship is apparently a battle boat setup I suspect and hope his intentions are mainly defensive for other miners and the surrounding regions. We'll keep an eye out and see what he does,
I'm sorry to report that the Hessian Gunboat Captain Shaf.Hauzen eluded us. Captain Richard Wills provided us with some scans of his ship, and we feel the Vigilance out armors and out guns her, but our lack of experience may tip the scales. Additionally, we were unable to locate his accomplices with the help of local Rheinland patrols. We'll keep our eyes open as we continue our patrols.
Day five: Well Rheinland, we decided to deviate a bit from the standard Patrol and directly escort ships that took their main path through Rheinland and it went pretty well. First was a Britionia ship of Mox to the Leeds system. Not much worry there. A quick trip back and we were able to escort three Kruger mining ships to and back from Kusari space. Good thing, we connected up with a Kusari Gunboat under the command of Captain Shi. Very well to do and helped with the GMG patrols in Sig 13 perfectly.
Now here is where it got odd. I performed one last patrol of New Berlin n and spotted a full Hogosha transport hauling ore from Omega 7. Now, I'm no miner by far, but I don't see any Kruger miner working for an organization that has more than once plowed them into the ground. I requests police support as it was, after all, a trade ship, who was followed by some freelancer in a pirate cargo ship. All too coincidental and it was trying to avoid me. I continued to disrupt its engines, asking it to stop while I tried to communicate with any kruger ships within Omega 7 but no one heard of this ship stealing ore from anyone. Well, The local Rheinland patrols didn't like the Hogosha ship at all and were pounding away at its shields and armor. It kept flying in circles and I was still trying to get confirmation as to what in the world to do. I eventually saw no reason to hold it and told it to make it to the trade lanes before the patrols took it out. Did I mention the local patrols really didn't like him? They took him out before he could make it anywhere. The Hogosha even asked me to help him too. I had mixed feelings about that and when his ship was destroyed.'¦.no I really didn't. Sorry.
