Bonsoir Atris, I will no doubt fail at trying to make this brief.


Firstly, I'm not sure exactly how you believe yourself to be in a position to hack a secure channel, believe me, I take a dim view of this - at the very best it is exceptionally rude, at the very worst it is a deliberate attempt to break the Councils communication codes. In short. Keep your responses OUT of message channels not addressed to you.

Now, on to the main body of your apparent grievances; I did not need to wait for your report - quite frankly the mountain of evidence and number of personal testimonies I have witnessed quite clearly showing your men to be thoroughly out of their depths in an area of space they had scant reason to be in in the first place.
Do you honestly thing war ships make a suitable diplomatic envoy? No doubt had I promised a full investigation in the message to the Gaians, you would be complaining that I am overstepping my authority by demanding your report and evidence.....

I have no idea what 'branch' I have locked - I assume you refer to yourselves....if so, I fail to see how I have 'locked' it - I have denied you nothing and in no way sought to limit your activities.

What kind of leader am I to trust my allies?....an odd question, seeing as you list no supposed allies of mine, and your constant referral to these 'allies' misdeeds without proof is both lazy and reckless. I have not claimed you did represent the [C]ouncil - so I am at a loss to answer that specific complaint, I have not charged with impersonating the High Command, perhaps you should re-think that claim against me.

The recent fight in Burgundy, let me check, ahh yes, this is the correct report Log 42. CdC, the Council lost nothing. We successfully carried out our mission and withdrew. No loss, no excess, no waste. The [C]ouncil does not endanger our fleet or pilots when engaged by the GRN in Burgundy, keeping our numbers reduced to complete a specific task is to conserve our strength - not risk it so close to the GRN bases and lanes. I'll not apologise for declining your offer.

Your next point I'm afraid is beyond my comprehension M'sieur....as far as I am aware no Sirian 'reinforcements' have been joining the Council - they have their own equally pressing concerns it would seem.

''Miners in Tau are less important than Gaians'' What a ridiculous question - I think you meant to ask me if I believed, "Miners in the Taus are worth less than Gaian's IN EDINBURGH". We have no business there - another house considers it Sovereign space - another house that takes a rather pointed view of foreign Capital war ships venturing through their systems, without request or permission.

The whole issue of the Taus is one I'll not touch with a 12 foot barge pole. It is a sight of intense struggle between multiple factions, all of which have a vested interest in that sector - which the Council does not. We have a large enough enemy right in front of us, yet you would have us involved in a war on another front to protect miners from the depredations of Gallic groups - the same Gallic groups that have aided us to a great degree. The end result, we loose out on all fronts, our precious few allies in Gallia abandon us and we potentially generate new, powerful, Sirian enemies. Congratulations on this stellar diplomatic display.

Brigands. 'Allies of the Outcast'. Once again I fear you have let your mouth to out-run your mind. You offer accusation, but no proof - and such comment's have been known to have dire consequences. Now, this 'deal' to run Cardamine - if true, I would personally begin to investigate them, they know my particular distaste for the substance......and yet...once again, you have no evidence. If I knew any better I might be tempted to call you out as an agent of the Crown, your certainly doing your best to destabilise the Councils relations with its friends and partners.

Now we come to the final point. At NO point in my private communique to the Gaians did I ever promise them your heads, at no point did I promise them I would attempt to censure or punish the GAUL fleet, at no point did I promise them my unyielding support against you. Yet you overreact to a private message - a private message that only sought to try and straighten out YOUR mess for the good of the Council.

The point of this message was to try and address your concerns whilst also hopefully imparting on you the need for actual evidence before you make wild accusations against some of our long-term partners. Oh, and to keep out of private comm channels too.

Now, I have answered those points I believed most important - feel free to barrage me with more of your complaints and reveal my flaws as a leader - Gallia knows I have enough of them - I am if nothing else, a patient man.
