mm, people do tend to take our enforcement as rule lawyering in game, when they're not so versed in the lore surrounded the Gate/Lane parts, which can be an issue. And generally when you do get it through to them that's it's an in-roleplay rule/law, they just scoff and say 'You can't do anything about it.'

And yes, we do get some comms towards from disgruntled traders sometimes, and also requests for Contracts. The latter of which are almost always granted. While this may seem to be working against our own monopoly, I do think it promotes interaction moreso then just blowing you out of the sky.

If you're willing to put the roleplay into it, we're willing to come to some sort of agreement. Of course, lining our pockets with something always helps.

On a similar note, when it comes to in game interactions with G/L Smugglers, it generally comes down to how the smuggler handles it. People who ignore us/stay silent and don't engage in anything but movement, are shot and destroyed. Same goes for those who are obviously not roleplaying. For these, the interaction doesn't go any further.
For those that do roleplay, and maybe still escape or something, they will be bountied and hunted by the ASF.
I'm not going to bother bountying those who don't bother roleplaying, it's a waste of Ageira time, effort, and money.

You've reminded me to bump the thread to Bretonia, thankyou. For now (with the notable exception of Kusari, yes we were aware, Zelot) we will act as if we are within the law. It only makes sense that if the goods are restricted, the Houses would allow those who own it to protect the goods. If some issue arises before confirmation is made, then we will deal with it the.


I, and I hope Max will continue it in his position as VP, have a very laid back 'come what may' attitude towards what happens with Ageira. I do have a few plans for the long term, but mostly if there's a negative interaction in game, I'll just roll with it. I've absolutely -NO- problem with Ageira taking a hit for the negative, so long as it coincides with beleivable Roleplay.

The biggest hit Ageira has taken in Discovery is Gallic Gate/Lanes. It hasn't been explained at all, apart from 'Junkers stole them'. The question is, -how-? And even after they managed to do so, how did Gallia get access to the tech inside the white boxes? How did they manage to back engineer it? How did they manage to implement it into a working technology?

-None- of this is explained, and it's beyond ridiculous from the point of view of someone who loves Ageira as much as I do.


But I digress totally, my apologies.
