Omicron Security Incorporated

Formerly the Security and Escort Wing of OSI, Omicron Security Incorporated is a subsidiary of OSI that provides security personel to protect all Omicron Supply Industries assets. In addition to providing fighter and bomber pilots as scouts and escorts for OSI Supply, the firm also provides security guards tasked with ensuring the peace Cornucopia, Nichols Trade Centre and Gran Canaria. This terminal was established to facilitate and consolidate Security Inc reports.

Ranking Structure

Recruit Pilot - The initial rank for all new escort pilots. Recruit pilots are restricted to the Eagle very heavy fighter or a Griffin interceptor. Promotion to Escort rank after a total of 10 points have been earned. Recruits earn 5% of the profits on routes they provide escort services on.

Escort Pilot - Use of both the heavy and very heavy fighter class strike craft is authorized. Promotion to Senior status is granted after earning 25 points and review by the Director. Escort pilots earn 10% of the profits on the routes they provide escort services on.

Senior Escort Pilot - Unrestricted access to all types of strike craft, including the bomber class. Promotion to Master status is granted after earning 35 points and review by the Director. Senior pilots earn 15% of the profits on the routes they provide escort services on.

Master Escort Pilot - In addition to unrestricted access to all types of strike craft, Master Escort Pilots are also given command of a Conference-class gunboat. They are free to select its armament, crew, and name. Master pilots earn 20% of the profits on the routes they provide escort services on. Master level pilots can also redeem any further earned points for credits (see below for details).

Director of Security - The acting head of Security Inc, responsible with managing the company's contracts, personnel, and readiness levels. The Director is selected by Omicron Supply Industries' Board of Directors and is typically filled from the ranks of the Master Escort Pilots. The current Director is Jerard Voncloud

Security Incorporated Point System

Points are used to determine a employees promotion status. Security Inc also offers a credit bonus system. Once an employee has reached Master status, they can redeem points for a credit bonus.

Security Inc pilots earn 1 point for the following:

• Providing security services for an Omicron Supply Incorporated transport, freighter, or liner.
  
• Completing a Beta level patrol* as directed by Director Ruiz.
  
• Completing a scouting or intelligence gathering mission as directed by Director Ruiz.
  

Security Inc pilots earn 2 points for the following:

• Completing an Alpha level patrol** as directed by Director Ruiz.
  
• Providing security detail for a scheduled Supply Inc trade convoy.
  

Credit Bonus Rules

• 3 million SC for averting a piracy attempt in which the transport you are escorting could not meet the pirates demand.
  
• 5 million SC for destruction of the pirate in the above scenario in the event the transport was destroyed.
  
• Master rank pilots will be able to redeem accumulated points at a rate of 2 million SC per point.

Omicron Security Incorporated's Armory

Omicron Security Incorporated pilots are authorized to use any strike craft currently produced by Cornucopia Manufacturing & Shipbuilding this includes the Eagle line of craft; of course rank restrictions still apply. Use of vessels not produced by CMS requires direct consent from Director Voncloud

In addition, Senior and Master level pilots have access to the following strike craft and weaponry options:

• Colonial Republic Nyx very heavy fighters w/ Colonial TEW-C weapons
  
• Colonial Republic Pytho bombers
  
• GMG Karasu heavy fighters
  
• GMG Kaichou bombers
  
• GMG Skyblast B weapons
  

* A Beta level patrol is defined as a patrol orginating from a Zoner station and doing a fly by of at least three other Zoner stations before ending the patrol.

**An Alpha level patrol will be defined by the client and conditions for each may vary. Consult the specific contracts for more details.
