yes, the models are based off the minmatar fighter drone from EVE online, but it has been retrofitted and changed modelwise in certain bits from the EVE counterpart, and 100% retextured using custom freelanceresque textures i created for them. it was discussed on the dev forums and after much of that the decision to add them was taken, hence them being submitted and added. the changes the original model has gone to make it compatible for discovery are quite extensive, so calling it a simple import is incorrect.
