This report is about an extensive patrol in Rheinland and in the Omegas. We got in to our Wraiths at 21:00 SMT and moved to the Strausberg. There, we met two Junker vessels, which were transporting superconductors. We were informed about the new decisions about the junkers, so we intercepted those two transports and ordered them to drop the cargo.
The Selami dropped the superconductors, which were tractored by our military units, and transported to the Strausberg. The other vessel, the Ontanes wasn't as cooperative as the other, maybe because he didn't afraid us. But when Admiral Voelkel arrived, he docked with the Strausberg.
When this problem was solved, we separated into two wings. I was in the first wing, which was led by Admiral Voelkel. Our third wingman was Gefreiter Sasha von Reginleif. The other wing was led by Ol.Ludwig Meyer. His two wingmen were Gefreiter Helge and Flieger Reims. Our mission was to patrol in the west territories of the Vaterland and in the Omega systems.
Stuttgart was clear that time, traffic almost zero, cold and clear as usual. Not like the omegas. When we arrived to Omega 7, we spotted a Red Hessian vessel, 4 clicks below the jumpgate. He was ordered to leave the area at once, but he didn't care about us, or there was some problems with his communication systems, because he didn't respond.
Because a rebel gunboat is a possible threat for Rheinland, we destroyed it.
After we handled this problem, we went to the mining fields, to scan for hostile activity. I suprised, because there wasn't any miners at all. Strange. So, we left the empty minefield, and went to Freistadt. There was a Bowex transport, and the Admiral ordered me to scan that vessel for possibly contrabands.
Because the transport didn't carry any unallowed cargo, we let it go. The other strange thing was at Freistadt. There was a Libertonian Gunboat with Freelancer identification. Strange... what the hell did he do there?
He was ordered to leave our territory, so he did. But when we arrived to Omega 3, I was shocked. An unidentified vessel attacked the gunboat and destroyed it in seconds. It was a black, strange shaped ship, maybe a gunboat. I couldn't run a scan on it, probably it has got some cloak or something.
We pursued it to the Omega 5 jump hole, where it opened fire. My ship was damaged and my communication went offline. Fortunately the drone jumped out, and I could fix my offline systems. After this incident, we moved back to Rheinland. The backward path was clear as usual, nothing to report about that. The Gefreiter signed off at the Karlsruhe, but we continued or patrol to Dresden. Well, it's a dead system I think. We didn't meet with a single ship or miner.
Our next waypoint was Omega 15. I haven't heared about this system, so I was very excited, what is there. Well, there wasn't any unusual. We did a circle, then moved back to the Strausberg.
Well, we protected our Vaterland again. At the end, I have to say I'm very satisfied about the Fliegers and the Gefreiters performance and the leadership commanding experiences.
