(Getting a screenshot of a guy pulling out Harris with his shields down would be easy enough I'd think.) This would allow for the fact that these guys tax innocent bystanders to help fund their operations, but if you prove to them that you're aiding their enemy then the gloves are coming off.

a lot of what "might be good roleplay" is restricted due to a heavy set of rules. most of them for a good reason. i think kill-on-sight would work for combatants meeting in mid space or so. but certainly not when someone is not in posession of control when he leaves a docking collar.
but i do believe that a sworn enemy faction ( provided the ID is scanned ) can be attacked without much of an announcement. in the end, i can hardly imagine a pirate to make a speech before he engaged an enemy - unless its a holliwood movie where villains tend to talk way too much anyway.

so as a gaian, i would support
- destruction of a transport that had terraform gases loaded ( as if that would ever happen ) - allthough i d rather like them to ask the pilot to jettison the cargo and then destroy it.
- destruction and attack without asking for money if another player is tagged & IDed with planetform ID
- allthough they are enemies, i don t think gaians would destroy a cruise liner though, even if spa and cruise is a sworn enemy. but maybe i just view gaians more harmless than others do - when it comes to going on a kill spree *cough* xenos...
