Just my opinion on how this scenario would go down:
1. BAF should not be VERY present in the IMG zone. We will make sure we keep our sector secure. It's part of having a zone... so we will step up to the challenge. Thus these incidents may not occur too often.
2. They will occur! (and I love that to happen! Problem roleplay... yeah!). So BAF might not be pleased but they will have to admit that Molly and IMG has always worked together somehow (historically) and that can't be a secret (they have the IAB ingame). So it should not come as a surprise.
3. What will they do? Nothing... it's the IMG Zone of influence and BAF or Bretonia get a good share of the IMG's ressources, so they profit. They also profit from Molly ore sold via IMG because (ingame-wise) IMG would for sure pay tax. So Molly gold gets Bretonia taxed indirectly. So I guess there would be some bad words and nothing more. Some overzealus pilots might try to do something against it, thus creating interesting scenarios for diplomatic play.
To sum it up: I don't see a problem that will disrupt or keep interesting interactions from happening.
I don#t see a BAF batleship sitting near Hood, waiting for the Molly Barge. And if... we'd find an ingame solution, adapt, and... ROLEPLAY! Yeah! =)
