One thing is I'd like to see the removal of redundant factions or ones that should have disbanded after the campaign. One I can think of in particular are the Blood Dragons, whose only real purpose was to rebel against the Nomad controlled Kusari state.
Next thing is I'd like to see wholly revamped faction shiplines. I for, one, find it odd how in 16 years they still only use the same old ships. I don't think the old ones should be removed; they can still stay but they'd be weaker but a lot cheaper than the newer variants. Not to mention the vanilla ship style in FreeLancer is pretty awful to begin with. If you guys ever decide for this, I can definitely help with modeling, as I'm not that bad of a modeler myself (examples 12)
Another thing, I think the old, weak fighters should be removed, such as the Valkyrie for instance, since after a player hits about level 20, there's no real use for it anymore. Getting rid of the old vanilla fighters (or getting rid of the completely up-statted identical fighters which replace them and use the exact same meshes and boosting the default fighters up to that level) would really save space for ship slots which in return allows for more room for expansion on ship lines.
