Dopamino is right on this one. Myself and 2 others fought a group of 2 Red Hessien Cruisers and a Battlestar (BStar came after the first cruiser died) in Honshu. This was back when the C.C.E were playing here.

DBoy should remember this..

We basically coordinated our attacks between the 3 ships flying. My Sabre and two Eagles. DBoy, Tank Target, and myself. The one being shot would dodge, the other two fire. A group of 3 fighters were able to destroy 2 cruisers and a battleship because we focused fire and used our higher speed to a great advantage. Anyone who thinks fighters are useless against capships will be in for quite a surprise when he finds himself taking a single cap against a group of fighters.
