Indie nomads... So what would one do? Where one would be able to go and where not to? What it would be able to do and what not to? And why? What would it do in this or that situation, how responsive and responsible it would be to act upon or uphold thin and tiny pacts and deals made either with specific individuals or whole groups... Because at this point 'Indie nomads' is a spherical cow in vacuum, got to be something clearer and better defined than that. Go ahead, I'll just listen.

Well for 1 limit to systems NPC nomads are in only. RP? well to each their own.

Never applied and never will apply.
Why? For couple of reasons-
I don'€™t like factions where someone else can judge your RP and explain how much you suck if you don'€™t follow it.
I don'€™t like to have too overpowered weapons and ships- it spoils the fun and the sportsmanship and the spirit of freelancer discovery balance. It is nice double-edged sword actually. Nomads have overpowered stuff and complain being ganked. As result they gank people with overpowered stuff, as result the people don'€™t like nomad faction and call them names......
Solution is actually easy- make the nomad tech not overpowered, so the people will not need to gank each other.
Or keep the keeepers witch have too small numbers to make it worth against their enemies in omicrons and add normal free nomad ID with normal free normal balanced guns and stuff. Indeed at the beginning it will be like with the rogue cruisers and barges but after a bit time the change will be good for all parties.
About the RP and stuff- your RP is well written excuse to enable you to have unlimited ZOI, overpowered weapons and ships, the ability to shoot everything, gank everything and very selective type of recruitment.
If you are really so piecefull and only RP oriented then add a line to the ID where you can engage only in self defence- then you can have all of your shiny stuff and you also will be able to do what you claim that you do.
It is good that there are a lot of reasonable players around. Sadly not all are that reasonable and I don'€™t believe that you are all so awesome (from what I saw in game) to have all this stuff. Have fun and take this as positive constuctive critik not as flaming.

Yes,,, But eventually we will want to use nomad gear because we think we have proven enough that we RP, which in most cases is true. I rp everyday on my nomad, just not the way of speech keepers want it. So thats why I feel we should be able to use nomad guns on morph even if the ID says its only self defence, because I have never broken the ID so far ^^

Keepers dont talk like:

***(annoyed)~mistaken -one called <person>- ... i do not harm'***, I have been critiziced on that, and while I do effort my RP, I just dont understand theyr way of speech(keepers), and neither am willign to 'learn' that way due to iam not native english, and people appreciate my rp as it is.

So thats why I feel it should be said, that I do really like to use nomad guns not for pew pew, just because I can RP, and only want those just for looks. I never shoot first ^^

I dont really care about the ships, I like my light fighter morph, but i do care for equipment ^^

Another reason i would like to see some Nomads outside of the Keepers. The general public,and Keepers may be surprised where it go's.

I honestly can't understand what the fuss on Nomads is about.

They're the Disco veteran players exclusive country club, along with Wild, Phantoms and other invite only groups. Naturally, they get access to the most overpowered equipment and ships and excuse to shoot things without a valid reason.

I avoid them and their unique form of RP like the plague.

Exactly the way alot of people think. That is why you get the gank squads. They show up,and the other players decide"hey lets gank these guys who think their BETTER then us. PEW PEW!" If there was none Keeper Nomads then maybe Keepers would get more RP,and less PEW PEW! Think about it. Some would(we all know it) screw up big time,and shoot everything,get sanctioned bla bla. Happens in every faction. This will make the KEEPER's look better. Also like any other Official Faction KEEPERs would still be able to give limited orders,and in the case of lolwuts FR5. Just think. A nomad hostile to all of sirius,then he gets a FR5 to nomads. Where would he land? Reload ammo/bots?
