dunno.....lowbies are gonna be safe....who is gonna shoot them?
you come off of Manhattan in a starflea, the npcs are more dangerous than my dreadnought.

and, its all about example.
as I've said before, you see more than a few capships whenever you launch from manhattan....maybe they will be scarier if they are killing things....
or look less cool if my suave Avenger is gutting them.

Let us battle in NY, let the banks get pirated, let the newbies shoot one another,
give the Angels a job.


I remember when I joined....ELF grabbed me right up and RPed me into my first horrible ugly pig.
wish more newbies got that start.

I generally fly a high level trader, and I often get asked questions.
my first response is usually "Get out of NY, and think about what your character wants"....or some such.

I just had a thought.
a TBH...lurking in the badlands, pming newbies, like a drug dealer realing in his marks...whispering things, then leading them off to join his faction....now, that doesn't make much sense, because the TBH are all born on crete...but you see my point...that would be fun...and then, an SA comes along, fights the TBH...tells the newbie he's gonna reform him/her.
