How should Zoners "behave"?

Ok, then Now to buisness. The AW has changed their backstory. They are no longer the "Unlawful Mercenaries" they used to be, but are still "Protectors of Theta". However, they now claim "Strong ties with the Zoners and the Outcasts", Something that seems to have been pulled out of thin air. This would be fine if they got their story straight. I still see them flying around with corsair weapons and IMG ships. Whenever addressed with the question, they pull the "We aren't hostile against normal corsairs or IMG" excuse. Bah, the so called "Raid on Rheinland" that gave them access to Rheinland ships was bad enough, but this?

Dab and korrd are actually keeping to the set restrictions. They use Adv Debilitators on their Rheinland bombers and zoner weapons on their civilian ships. That I can apreciate.

also, the need to participate in every single attack on the SA and LSF is getting out of hand. Sure, there is an Alliance with HF, but to take part in an already one sided conflict tends to rub me the wrong way.

And about these "Strong Ties" with the Zoners. In an RP sense, the zoners would sever such ties because the AWs are a liability. Who want's to have any ties, strong or otherwise, with a faction that has clearly taken sides in the corsair/outcast conflict and is hostile or unfriendly to almost every house faction.

Politics, my friends, dictates that such an association with the AWs would be very bad for any long term neutrality. If anything, Zoners would want to expell this liability from theta to ensure the long term neutrality they have worked towards for so long.

Now, instead of blabbing on and on, I have thought up a way for the AW to be nice zoner wannabes again. End the war with the TBH/SCRA/BSG. As I see it, the only thing that is feuling this war is hubris on the AWs part. I am sure negatiations could get favorable results. Also, End the war with SA/LSF. This war was started by an aliance with HF. You can help HF against attacks in Vespucci, but do not send 6 ships to stomp on an already outnumbered liberty force.

If you do not want to play nice with the zoners and all their friends, I would suggest making the AW an outcast faction. It fits their RP better. But, oh, wait! That cant possibly work. The Phantoms are friendly with the outcast guard!

Anyway, we have all taken our cold showers and we can have a nice intleigent debate.
