On 0220 hours I set course for 52 after finishing a routine patrol of the Omega-50 system. No contacts were present after I received an emergency transmission. Apparently one of our SCUDs had taken care of whatever intruder or hostile had been present.

I was on my way to Gorodok, fully trusting that the matter had been taken care of, and didn't bother questioning the SCUD pilot on the affair. However as the SCUDs are, regardless of their cannon-fodder status, our comrades in arms and, well, loyal to the Volkhan and our cause - even if it's mostly because we'll simply dispose of them if they were to act otherwise - I figured the least I could do was ask if everything was alright.

[color=#CCCCCC]It goes without saying that he'll probably end up dead just as the others. Afterall that is their prime purpose. However I find that regardless of their former traitor or criminal status, or whatever they as individuals were before we nerve-stapled them and shoved them in suicide-bombers, they are still human. As effective as the nerve-staples are, and as useful as those suicide-bombers may be, I personally think that some "hope" might be good for their morale. Giving them the potential - albeit highly unlikely - opportunity that their good doing might be rewarded should also be taken into consideration. If it works out we might have them fully converting to serve the Volkhan out of their own will rather than out of fear. Well, at least the ones who'd be lucky enough to survive, eh?

And if it backfires, we can still zap them as usual.
