Balance is done seperately of model presentation/submission.
This is because:
1. Community-agreed stats depends on which faction is most popular
2. It causes a whole lot of stuff where people talk about stats as opposed to the model, as is evident here.
I'd like to see the third engine move up the underside tail to attach to the fuselage, it looks like someone bolted it on to me.
The Corsairs don't really -need- an SHF, but if they got one, even with these stats, I don't think it would be too bad. Due to the bigger central section, all you need to do is get a half decent pilot in a mafic or bomber with a supernova, and suddenly the chances of this ship exploding reaches about 50%. In anything larger than a 3v3, this ship, as all SHFs, will be weak. In smaller furballs, they are typically strong.
If this were introduced as an SHF, you would likely see an increased regen count and reduced forward firepower (sorry, 8 guns forward, 6 of which are class ten slots? God forbid some dude comes along with 2 excaliburs, 6 tizzies and an SN, enough to defend yourself from fighters, strip gunboat shields, and put down a lot of supernova firepower). There is also a seperate SHF powerplant which might or might not be used.
But, all of that is very speculative, as I very much doubt this will get into the mod. Corsairs already have one of the most flexible ship lines available as their version of a counter to the Sabre and other enemies that they face in the Omicrons.
Even if this ship were introduced, I doubt it would fulfill a useful role except completing my comparison between Corsair snubcraft and arms in ancient Imperial Japan.
Decurion = Tanto
Centurion = Wakizashi
Gladiator = Naginata
Titan = Katana
This thing = Nodachi
Praetorian = Tanegashima
On that basis alone, do want (once you move the third engine up the tail fin to attach to the fuselage).
