How should Zoners "behave"?

Alright, folk,

Since I started this bloody mess, it's up to me to request its demise.

I am going to do two things to put the reverse thrusters on this situation; and to make it a bit less open for all and sundry to throw in their opinions, well-meaning or not.

First, I am going to open a topic for "Zoner Registry". I would like all ID'd and IFF'd Zoners, whether Independent or clan-affilliated, to make themselves known. Even though the Asgard Warriors have their own ID, they will be included in the Zoner Registry. Period. Unless there is strong objection, this "registry" will go under the Factions section.

This list will then be used to form a Sector-wide "Council of Zoners". I propose that with the exception of AW, members must be fully ID'd and IFF'd as Zoner, in order to vote on any Council decisions. If a character for RP reasons does not have both, they should be allowed to contribute, but not to vote. I propose that this be done in full roleplay; and that the "Council" thread should be placed accordingly.

I intend to convene the first session of this Council of Zoners shortly. Surprisingly enough, the first order of business will not be about AW. I have received a request from a yet-to-be-named group for permission to use Gran Canaria as a base of operations. As I know there are many independent Zoners out there, as well as neutral traders who frequent Omega 49, I am not comfortable in making this decision alone. I am awaiting permission from this group to make its name and its request public. If they choose not to do so, then I will be comfortable in denying their request, at least as spokesperson for the TAZ.

The TAZ have been given the rights to Baffin. We will be moving our Headquarters there as time goes on. But, we do not intend to give up our holdings, nor our rich RP, on Gran Canaria. I will do everything in my power to ensure that Omega 49 remains a Zoner enclave, and that Port Canaria remains a "Temporary Autonomous Zone". However, this will require the efforts of ALL Zoners, not just the TAZ.

With that said, I believe a padlock is now in order on this bad boy. Moderator, if you will, please....
