Hey Cannon.

I think a mining nerf to bring the profits in line with high end trading is an ideal move for the present. Miners will still have an advantage over traders in the form of escorts being able to generate funds. I believe this will balance out their disadvantages.

I believe that these prices should be re-evaluated come the release of 4.86 in 2029 to stand in line with those of the revised commercial model which is being released.

I feel that this will reduce the overall saturation of miners and restore a measure of credibility to trading in addition to paving the way for a natural introduction of the updated mining fields without further disrupting or compromising trade factions/the work invested.

That being said the mining mod needs to be turned back on. The mistake isn't with the mod anymore than it is with any form of player interaction. The mistake was in leaving it cranked so high when it should have been turned down 9 months ago.
