Yes. If you fill up faster and the price is lower than pirates are not going to make the demand for the 10 million or more.

You will also be able to keep more transports moving which is what the mining mod was suppose to do! If you do not have people to haul it then drop it into storage units until you do.

The problem is it takes far to long to mine gold/niobium. As Hielor said it takes him 20 minutes to fill his hegemon which is only half way to a 5k. So when that pirate comes around and he knows the miner will not want to lose his ore he makes a demand that he knows the miners will object to so he makes him splode.

Wouldn't any of you be mad if you just spent an hour mining and someone comes around and takes it from you in the matter of seconds? Where is the balance in that? Piracy is the only thing on disco that is not balanced, especially when it comes to ore.

Make the drops faster and the payouts lower and you solve the problem. Because if the ore you are haulin is only worth 25 - 30 million I doubt the pirates would be making to high of demand anymore. Not only that but when you have all those transports and miners around they can all come together and make the pirate splode!
