As Comrade said, we have enough of a capspam problem already.
2. delete rule 6.7. it does not make any RP sense. It makes perfect sense!
3. remove exclusive factions or make the IDs and technology open for independent players as well.
And after all these changes, we will have soooo much more fun :D Some of us have worked very hard to build exclusive factions and worked as hard or harder to keep them going. It's a right that isn't given but earned. Something tells me that your failed attempt at the ORI has much to do with how you feel.
As to indies using faction tech, no. Does it make sense for a Corsair indy to be using Bounty Hunter or even Outcast guns? No, it doesn't! As it is, I'd like to see Zoner guns more restricted but in RP, there is no central governing Zoner body that can control it anymore after the fall of the Zoner Alliance. While just about anyone can use it without asking if they really want to, I applaud the players who still stick with their RP and therefore, there own tech!
