He was not strong enough to pretend he can ignore any pain and any wound - emotional or physical - and be the same man he is. So turning around and leaning his back at the wall next to them, he ran his fingers through his hair with a sigh and said,
"The reason I wanted to meet here not in there..."
And pointing at the general direction of the court with his head, he continued.
"...was because I wanted this to be one man talking to another - a wiser one, not a Freelancer talking to a Dragon shogun..."
