The objective was to deliver a load of artifacts to Willard Station for further research. The artifact smuggler had been intercepted two days before, and transport vessel Halifax was assigned to transfer the material. Secretary Johny Leroy and agent Ashley Sunderland were assigned to escort the Halifax to the destination, while opertives Beta-1 and Sampi were dispatched to border station San Diego to make sure the security within the system.
Threat level was evaluated as "Moderate". The pathway to Willard had been abandonned for some time, and pirates didn't frequent the region, so the risks were low.
The convoy entered the field and proceeded to the first waypoint, the abandonned supply depot where it was intercepted by a wing of Order fighters. The report of agent Sunderland is enclosed.

Leroy and I were escorted the transport to the waypoint as planned, but then the attack hit. Four fighters emerged, the transport's engines got disrupted. I called for backup, relaying the message to San Diego. The backup consisting of two fighters and gunboat came right on time. Although the gunboat couldn't open fire because of the possibility of friendly fire, its presence was a bit relieving.
I don't know what exactly happened on Halifax, I was to busy trying to repell the attack, but from some transmissions I realised that something was wrong there too. At that moment I didn't pay much attention to it, I was doing what I had been assigned to do.
Although the fight was severe, we managed to make the attackers fall back. We expected another attack, so the had to speed up and move to the destination without the chance to investigate anything. Delivering the cargo was top priority.
We managed to get to Willard. The station's security was increased as battleship Zagam had been dispatched to Tahoe Ice Cloud. After that I landed on the station for the debriefing.

Once the transport reached Willard, the inspection began. We found out that one of the most crucial objects, the Nomad Power Cell, had been lost during the encounter. This is a separate case that falls under DIA's jurisdiction. Suffice to say, the recovery teams were sent to investigate the site of the encounter. Report enclosed.

We were dispatched to the Barrera Passage in order to investigate the battlefield. No signs of Order escape pods were detected, they had probably managed to tractor them before withdrawing. Judging by the leftovers of the Order vessels, we came to conclusion that they were Nephthys-class.
We did not find the Power Cell, however some alien materials were recovered. Those might be the pieces of the broken cell, although the conclusion will be made by R&D.
...end of record; Closing file.
With that in mind, we believe that the Power Cell had been destroyed. However, it is up to DIA to investigate whether the transport captain was guilty. Also, it's up to R&D to will check whether the material brought by the recovery team truly is all what's left of the Power Cell.
