The Anguish at the End

Anna sat staring out the window.. numb. She had sat like this for hours not wanting to believe what had just transpired. She knew it would all come crashing down on her.. it had too... but not like this.

The truth .. she had found it, and much more. The guilt she felt at not stopping jack on that futile last charge was overshadowed by it, It fed her now as she sat still watching the stars slip by. They were not monsters... She had seen with her own eyes there home... She had seen it all and more.

Anna put her head in her hands and tried not to cry... Why was it always bad men with a quick trigger finger that caused the problems.. the nomads had caused her no problems directly.. they had never threatened her... told her to stop doing this and that.. No they had welcomed her as a teacher and student at the same time. how could she turn her back on these beings who had been nothing but kind and shown her so many wonderous things.

A slight smile as she remembers her first days in dublin, The months that saw the Hood grow into a vibrant and colourful place with all her new friends. Molly, Outcast, BAF, the miners the ladies from gaia, So many friends now lost to her for having one more that did not look like the rest and was feared .. not understood...

Looking upwards she closes her eyes and asks that all her friends in dublin be watched over ... she isnt there to help anymore... there going to need it.

Sighing and thinking about her choices.. should she .. could she. No this was the right decision, to go back on the trust of the spirits would have been a far bigger travesty than what had just occured. She reminds herself she did all she could to stop the quick fight from happening... the warnings were given...

Anna screws her face up tight as she remembers the short battle.. the charge of the IMG wing and the raw power of the scorpion as it tore through the ships like butter. Knowing the worst anna offers up a prayer to jack.

"Im sorry partner seems i got you in some trouble you couldn't talk your way out of... God bless you jack, always could count on you." anna crys heavily.

When the sobs have passed she stumbles over to the comm unit. "Sully get us out of here please. Barrier Gate Station Coronado"





Sometimes storys appear as if by magic.. Sometimes your having that much fun with the story you forget it has to end. And when the end comes your never ready. All that's left of the magic is memories.. and there ours to keep.


// Yeah so hmm what do you say when your world has just been torn apart... i dunno dont ask me im here and i still dont know. I think that storyline had soo much more left to run and i do feel it has been cut short.. oh the plans i had for you guys *winks* But hey one chapter closes another opens.
