In the end, all battleship fights are variable (if they're alone, that is)

However, if a Battleship is part of a fleet, it will be considerably more effective and will survive for a lot longer, doing more damage.

Not really, fighters are so ineffective against bombers that if they concentrate on it it'll die just as fast if not faster than it had alone.

Hull HP doesn't matter in the slightest when you cant hit the enemy as much as they can hit you.

If you can't hit a BS with another BS something is wrong with you and you need to get your eyes checked. Hull matters big time. BIIIIIIIIIIIG Time. It doesn't matter how much you get hit because you have that protection. It matters if they do because their hull is lower.
