Best Capital ship

This is not a 'Capship bashing' post, just my honest opinion:

Capital ships are useless, and totally not worth the cash you'll put in. Still, they're a good workaround for skill, that's why most newbies fly Gunboats and up, only because they do better with crapload of hull and massive firepower, which the lone fighters they engage technically cannot counter.

If you ask me, use that 300 mils you've got and make a couple of fighters from different factions. That'll both help you to get to know different types of RPs without having to spend +500mils for each, and also lets you learn a bit about fighter combat.

Don't get me wrong, skill still counts in capship combat, but to put it simple - Capital ships are balanced to be weak, even in hands of the most skilled pilots. A cruiser, even if skilled, will be torn apart by 3 skilled snubcraft pilots. But that's the thing - Learning to fly snubcraft is much harder than learning to fly capitals.

Even on your first week on server, you might be able to get a couple of kills in a gunboat or above, but you'll die in a fighter over and over for at least months, before you actually understand how should you fly it. That's why I'm not a big fan of capital ships and consider them a waste of time and money.

I'm not telling you not to buy a capital ship, I'm just saying why you'll regret it soon after the purchase.
