Best Capital ship

It's not. The best Capital Ship? A dead one.

Don't buy a capital ship based on it being "the best"

But a capital ship for a faction you enjoy playing. That is the only way you're going to enjoy flying a Battleship.

I'd also recommend starting with a Cruiser before getting a Battleship. The thing with Cruisers and Battleships is they die. A lot. And very easily. You fly a battleship and you will die, over and over and over. You may find it won't be fun, and you'll lose interest in flying your Battleship. That's a lot of wasted credits... Cruisers are pretty much the same thing but cheaper.

Battleships are misleading. They are not invincible. They are not the end all be all ship. They do die to smaller ships when out numbered.

A Battleship is not an instant win stick. Remember that when making your purchase.

Edit: And here I was thinking the only tactical advice Cam could give was to sit with your nose to a mooring point.:)
