Yesterday I finished setting up two ships for myself. One was the Dromedary, which whenever seen flying will have Moretti aboard spouting propaganda into system chat. The other was a pirate Startracker.
After almost dying to a BH Barracuda and two IMG Hawk NPCs near Barrier Gate Jack (who came to rescue me in his Stiletto) and I found a BWT with an Interspace IFF and Indie trader ID. Tried to interact with it, but it was silent, so after a while we lost patience and opened fire.
Then a Bounty Hunter flying a Sabre arrived. Whilst we chased the transport to Baffin he decided to take down the shield on my Startracker quite a few times without a word. The transport jumped to Baffin and we moved to the Cortez hole. Just as Jack had to go I found a Junker Salvager, which I talked to for a while and eventually received the requested donation of ten thousand credits. Along with some Xeno pilots. Too kind.
Was definitely something different. Suddenly you don't feel in so much control. You can't ignore NPCs as they shoot at you when you only have a Level 2 shield and no armour on your Startracker.
This post serves as a bump as well as a little way to let people know what we're doing ingame.
