Name: Misaki Satō Age: 24 Gender: Female Origin: Planet Kyushu, Kyushu System Citizenship: Libertonian Biography:On a shiny summer day Misaki Satō was born at 795 A.S. Her family was a wealthy Kusarian family who also had some minor nobility in the Empire. Misaki from her youth had developed many liberal ideas which were strongly opposed by her conservative family. Her best friend, Kimura Takahashi had the same beliefs with her and she was the only person she could trust. Misaki couldn't stand the accusations of many small Kyushu landowners against her family because deep inside her she knew that most of them were true. Even though she often argued with her parents, she finally obeyed their demands. She knew her future; she would be forced to marry a husband of her family's choice and her task would be to take care of the household. At 810 A.S. a friend of her secretly gave her and Kimura the Chrysanthemum, the well-known book of Yuyu Matsuda. Like thousands girls in the past, this book influenced Misaki and Kimura very much.
She eventually stopped arguing with her family and for half a year she prepared her plan. Misaki started contacting some low-ranking Golden Chrysanthemums in the resistance of her city who gave her instructions on what to do. Some months later, one day before her birthday, Misaki Satō and Kimura Takahashi left their families and secretly took a passenger transport for Tsushima Depot. There they met some Golden Chrysanthemum members who escorted them to Ainu Depot in Hokkaido. She knew that this step would change the rest of her life, but she was willing to even sacrifice her life for her beliefs and ideas. All fully fledged members of the Sisterhood use cardamine in order to dream up the Kusari they wanted to have and also to prevent any attempts to penetrate their closed society. So Misaki and Kimura started being casual users of cardamine. Misaki's determination and ideals were quickly noticed by the leadership, so they started assigning to her more and more important and difficult missions.
After 2 years within the Sisterhood, at the age of 18, she was tasked to assassinate Shōshō Machumoto, a Rear Admiral who was a major link between Samura, the military and the government. She carefully planed the attack and she eventually succeeded in killing Shōshō Machumoto while having moderate casualties. This was a huge success for Misaki, because Kusari was preparing to invade Bretonia and that assassination reduced the influence of Samura to the government. Misaki was called a hero, she received a medal and was assigned along with Kimura in Chanai Colony, in Tau-65 system. There she recruited and trained the young members, while she was still participating in Golden Chrysanthemum assault wings. Misaki's quick elevation in Sisterhood's hierarchy made some Chrysanthemum members feel envy for her. At 817 A.S. they assembled and decided to assassinate her. Eventually, some days later Misaki while she was in a typical patrol, numerous GC ships appeared which they didn't respond to the calls and some moments later they opened fire. Misaki's wing was outnumbered and outgunned so it was destroyed after an intense fighting, an hour later. Only Misaki's ship made it through from the ambush.
Her eagle drifted for a day inside desolate Kusarian nebulas while having in it's cargo hold, the pod of her "eternal friend", as she used to say, Kimura. She contacted some of her most trustworthy sisters in the society and she was informed that she was regarded as a rogue pilot. So she had no choice but to continue south; eventually they made it to the Leiden Base with the help of one Lane Hacker Heavy lifter. Kimura had a Lane Hacker friend there who helped them repair their ship. When the ship was repaired, they secretly left Leiden and headed to Planet Denver where they asked political asylum from Liberty. They were granted the asylum along with a Libertorian citizenship, so Misaki and Kimura worked for a year as mercenaries for various Liberty companies. Luckily, both didn't have a lengthy exposure to cardamine, so they don't have an addiction, although they still get pills to prevent any side-effects. Even though they didn't accomplish their dreams for a free Kusari and they were betrayed by their own sisterhood, they finally enjoy freedom and that's what it motivates them to move on.
Lately, Misaki Satō joined Universal Shipping Incorporated with her friend.
