In terms of capital warfare, Liberty has gotten the shaft, at least once the enemy ships close in.
A light battleship, a light cruiser with a forward gun that's finicky in fights, a battlecruiser that tends to fall on the "meh" side against other cruisers, and a carrier that at this time can only be described as abysmal.
Rheinland, on the other hand, has a heavy battleship, a decent cruiser, and is getting what looks like a slightly chunkier version of the hypothetical offspring of Arnold Schwartzenegger and the Hulk. Granted, they don't have a battlecruiser.
I can understand how it's supposed to be, in that Liberty has more of its lighter, more expendable dreadnaughts (which is an incorrect label for the thing), as well as standoff firepower from the funsticks and close-in tanking from the battlecruisers.
Rheinland deals more in down and dirty heavyweight slugging, which is why they lost the 80 Year's War against craploads of bombers.
This has been an overly analytical post that really doesn't have much bearing in this thread. I am a mental hobo aboard your train of thought.
