The professor looked up as a beeping sound originating from his computer assailed his ears. He gave a last look at a greenish crystalline object lying on a desk before him, then stood up looking at the direction of the source of the beeping. This room of the apartement was lacking decoration, other than the various scientific equipment all filling most of the free space. He stood still for a brief second before proceeding to his computer, where he without much hesitation put the keyboard to good use. The beeping sound ceased and the blank bluish screen turned to a more colorful visual embodyment of an operating system, and in a matter of seconds his eyes begun reading a short yet sufficiently long enough message. Not wasting much time and unnecessary effort, he turned around and walked out of the room

Within minutes he stepped into the bar, where the Colonel was supposed to be. As he looked around, he quickly noticed the face familiar from his computer screen, provided by her transponder signal upon sending her first few transmissions to the professor earlier today. He nodded and walked to the table of the woman, where he cleared his throat in the case she didn't notice him already
- Colonel Collister, if I am correct - he greeted her, and in the same moment she gave a verification, Professor Kronenberg reached out with his right arm to shake hands with her - I am pleased to meet you personally
