I have nothing against the Molly official group. If that's what you think you are badly mistaken. I just do not want to be a slave to some "official" group's modified RP. If the Molly Council wants to organize the Mollys that's just fine by me. But do not go ordering me to do something that a Molly would not normally do. I'm an independent Molly. It doesn't mean I'm completely independent from role play. What it means is that I want to RP a Molly. I do not want to RP some modified Molly that's friends with BAF or with BMM or with IMG. Mollys are not allies with these groups.
If the official Molly group wants to formulate treaties, that's THEIR business not mine. I'm not your slave just because I have a Molly ID. You wanna send me out on missions against the BAF, I'm all for helpin out there. Just keep your interactions with me clean and Molly-like and we'll be fine.
Now this thread isn't just about Mollys you know. Its about faction rights and responsibilities to the non-faction. The official factions are supposed to be the example of how that particular faction ID should act in RP. Doing stuff that goes against the ID is OORP and bad for the server. Deviate from what the ID says you can and cannot do requires Special RP. And Special RP is quite different than what RP is supposed to be. Special RP is for those that wanna do things that go against the ID requirements.
I'm just asking for members of official factions to NOT treat us non-members like dirt. We're here to enjoy the game and RP same as you. I don't have time in my day to spend 90% of my game-play time reading someone's personal way to RP and then they try to force it down my throat.
Treat my Mollys like Mollys. Treat my Gateway like Gateway (yes I have a character in a faction). Treat my characters like what their ID shows. You cannot treat a Molly like they are part of the IMG. Its like Rogues and Liberty Navy hangin out, singin songs and enjoyin each other's company. Something like that is Special RP (or OORP if you ask me).
