Well, I have nothing besides saying that the ordeal felt dirty. I feel very relieved to hear that he will no longer be sharing in PMs, and that is very nice to hear. Thank you for taking my complaints into consideration. Hopefully no one else will be confused about that person's identity in the future.
You're right. I never searched that thread before I was caught. Why would I? And that's my point with contacting the people directly. No, it's not your job to be nice, but, well, it'd be nice. I mean, if I took the time to make a template...

Subject: Automated Fine Message
Guten Tag.
This is an automated message from the Rheinland Federal Police. A ship registered under your name has been caught breaking the Rheinland Laws. Please see the Rheinland Criminal Database for further details on this ship's particular case. If you do not comply with the fine listed, the registered ship will be declared an illegal ship and apprehended by police and military forces.

That took about 5 minutes, and if you were to just put something really simple like that in the communications thread with a title like "To: BLANK", it'd give a very inviting opportunity for people to RP with you, or know they should pay a fine OR get FR5ed, because, well, how else would someone know? If the RFP would like to do it, I wouldn't see a problem with them doing it, and you filing the FR5 if they're not official (dunno if they are at this point). Overall, it'd just give someone the opportunity to RP a situation instead of just getting beaten by default, which I do think is worth complaining about.
Thanks for listening, especially if I did seem overly abrasive. Really the onus of RP shouldn't be put on the shoulders of one party, and that's kind of what I'm trying to say with pushing that message. It might be different when you catch someone ingame on your RMs, but when I was caught, there was no inkling of being able to account for myself. Since you probably do inform people that they'll have to pay a fine on your RMs, maybe then just sending a message to people the Freelancers have caught would be nice? Because it's not horribly clear that these people are actually working for the RM and that they're going to be declared hostile...
