Part 3:

Obliterator left Darkstars quarters in a very irritated mood. His partner was a new brother who had arrived in Sirius from one of the CTans out of galaxy training fortresses and to make matters worse he was what the phantoms colloquially called a pure spirit. A pure spirit was someone who from an early age was taught and brought up learning that enlightenment was the key to everything. They were the purest of the pure and purer than most of the phantoms anyway.

If it was one of those arrogant know-it-alls then Obliterator would give him a run for his money, and that would be before they met Lord Glock, speaking of which he had to see him and sister Onyx before his departure, the pair of nosey gits wanted to know why he was summoned. Obliterator knew they were jealous. In any case he went to see Onyx first, at least he knew where she would be.

The Interrogation chambers reeked of death, blood and guts. Onyx must be having a good day thought Obliterator as he slipped into the Interrogation Chamber. Inside was a sight, dried blood caked the floor and Obliterator swore he saw several organs and half a head in one corner. Onyx hadnt noticed him, she was too busy with her victim.

He was a tall man with an athletic build, sandy brown hair and a face that may have once been handsome. Teenage girls would have called him a stud, silly word in Obliterators opinion. However Onyx seemed to have exploited it by sticking some studs into him. Obliterator of course used the term studs very loosely, they were actually 2 foot iron spikes slowly pushed into his torso and then pulled out at a speed that caused excruciating pain. That however, did not appear to have broken him. Obliterator knew this was no problem for Onyx, in fact it only made her joy greater for the results would be very horrible for him and no mercy would be given when he eventually did break. A cruel smile was on her lips as she asked Crystal ONI to give her a camera link to Lord Glocks location.

Obliterator recognised his location, the execution square. Glock liked being executioner. Obliterator remembered the day he first embraced it. He had mercilessly executed over 52 Bretonnian pilots well they were trapped helpless in their escape pods for some trivial reason.

Onyx looked at Obliterator with her evil smile, obviously he was about to witness her latest brand of sadistic mental torture. The screen turned to the Phantom Execution detail prepping their weapons. As the screen turned to the prisoner Onyx spoke, You should know that no ship escapes us, despite how many pilots you sacrifice to buy it time. Im sure this little demonstration will permanently scar your mind. The camera stopped at a young woman who was bound and tied, ready for execution. It looked like the firing squad were waiting for the order to shoot.

The man in the interrogation room seemed to lose what colour he had left in his face. No! Not her please thats my fianc?e. PLEASE!!!!! He begged, there seemed to be a tear in his eye. You only have yourself to blame you little worm, and besides she is dead weight, with the emphasis on DEAD! Onyx replied venomously. As if on cue Glock called the firing squad to arms. They took aim. The woman looked terrified, bound and gagged standing their awaiting her fate. The man tried not to watch but Onyx made him. Without a change in emotion Glock gave the marine sergeant in command of the detail the order. He was a Rheinlander who spoke his native language, FEUER FREI! which Obliterator loosely translated as open fire. There were bangs and flashes from the guns as the shots hit the woman. She let out muffled screams of pain for the first 2 shots but the third and fourth killed her outright. Yet another 8 shots hit her. She was quite a mess at the end.

The man in the room let out a scream of anguish as his beloved collapsed dead on the floor. Satisfied with her current progress Onyx turned to the door and exited saying to Obliterator, Lets get GLock and you can tell us what Darkstar is up to. Nosey gits Obliterator replied as he went out the door leaving the now blubbering man in his sorrows, for now at least.
