Jaina was schooled by her mother, who hoped she would seek further education planetside once she was old enough. However, Jaina, wouldn't take that path. She showed an aptitude for piloting at a very early age. Surprising both her parents by performing her first unassisted planetary landing at the age of twelve. By the time she was fifteen she was taking over piloting the ship on whole runs by herself. Her father would give her a cut of the profits from each run she flew and before too long she had quite a bit saved.

At seventeen Jaina decided to strike out on her own as an escort. She took what she had and purchased, a poorly equipped, Eagle. She mainly took jobs around Liberty. After a couple of years she grew tired of the same old scenery and lousy pay. From there Jaina headed to the outer rim. The money was a little better but it still wasn't what she had hoped.

Her luck changed when one of her employers offered her an "extra" assignment. She was to take out a pirate that frequented the Sigma 13 system. Escorting was one thing but killing for money was something she wasn't sure she could follow through with. After quite a bit of thought Jaina set out to find her mark. The target made her decision for her and engaged her first. She took him down with relative ease. Surprised by the rush of it and the feeling of actually having more credits than she had ever had at one time Jaina took more and more bounty contracts. She was hooked.

By early 817 Jaina had amassed a sizable sum of credits. Now outfitted with a Sabre fighter and rare CODENAME weaponry she headed back to Liberty. There was no shortage of pirate targets so she took up working with the Liberty Government.

She decided to seek out employment with the Reavers since most of the local contracts have dried up. This goes against her standard of always working alone. Only time will tell if Jaina will stick with the company..
