Translated roughly to English, the Ocean View Cafe. What better name for a place to eat on Planet Nevers? The Café was an upscale place, catering to the wealthy and privileged. It had its share of regulars and the food was pretty good. As long as you stayed away from the veal, of course. Police, Military, Corporate, Civilian - all sorts came and went through the doors, and information flowed almost as freely. You'd be surprised what a salmon steak and a good vintage of wine can do to the tongue.

Nothing is ever as it seems, of course. Owned by the Start Nanobots Familia and having ties to the local bosses, the Café often served a secondary purpose, and that was one of backdoor deals and shady transactions. Honor was still a currency of value and like any coin, it was just as fleeting. The locals always had enough change to spare to whet the appetite of any Corse, and that kept the family in good standing. All you had to do was look for a meeting with "the man in blue with a table for two". The rest of the pieces usually fell into place.

Of course, not all the patrons were shady. Some were simply tourists looking for a good meal at a clean place. Life was full of chance, though. Nobody ever knew where the night might take them.
