Quote:Section II: About You
Why do you want to join the Primary Fleet? In my line of work you make enemies, with no personnel allies beyond my ship I am left hanging in the wind. The hope of joining a larger group is that protection will not remain a dirty word.
How long have you been in the Secondary (Independent) Fleet? Never joined homes, you tend to shy away from showing alliegence in my line of work. Now that I'm tossing my helmet in with you all I felt I should be going for broke; in the same fashion as my line of work is.
What do you think you can bring to us in the Primary Fleet? The traits of a Corsair run deep in my family, give a Corsair a glimmer of hope and you have a man that will fight tooth and nail.

Biography - Planet Crete
Born to planet Crete in 790 A.S where hardship is everyone's middle name the Guillion family is like many of the Corsair lineage. Originally interested in just excavation with his father, Guillion became infatuated with the artifacts his family uncovered in the mines. During the last shift of the week Osiel drudged up a black artifact bearing the regular markings of their creators. Dipping it in the ground water of the mine he brushed off the stuck on muck and glowed in response before fadding back out again. Attempting to replicate the effect he tried repeatedly to no avail.
Taking the artifact with him out of the mine he returned home with his father and told him the story of what happened. Dismissing the story based on effects of long mining runs his father moved on, leaving the artifact to his son. Holding it up to the light Osiel would watch the artifact before he went to bed, running it over in his mind of how it first happened.
Biography - Smuggling
As he became older and more duties piled upon his shoulders Osiel shifted his interests towards the distribution side of the artifacts trade. Using the families M3 "Legionnaire" he began his work by transfering crates first from Planet Crete itself then outwards towards the farther reaching bases.
Taking his own share and hiding it among his belongings from each transaction Osiel amassed his money till he purchased a "recovered" Correo transport. The pay became better, his ship a bit sturdier and his tactics bolder as he worked farther up stream; removing middle men as he went.
By the time he touched down in Trafalgar Osiel's tactics were bold and swift, his reputation one of a man not afraid to tangle with others if the rewards outweighed the danger. Traveling back towards the Omega systems in his fully updated Correo the Bretonian Police finaly caught up to him, gunning his engines Osiel pushed his ship to the limit, running the vehicle into the red limit. With his shields failing and the hull smoldering around him he dumps a quarter of his cargo into space, letting the engine components burying themselves into the cockpit of the closest Hussar.
The Hussar's shock wave ripes into the last of his shield, knocking it out. Debris slam into his engines instantly shutting them down, as the power levels fade he feels the gravity simulator die out as he rises up in his seat. The ship tilts end over end, smacking into the asteriods around him. Ejecting all of his cargo into space around him Osiel removes a black foil blanket, hurridly sealing himself inside the material. Using his headsets communication suite he listens to the low hisses of the remaining Bretonian pilots bickering. Holding his breath as light flashes outside tracking in all his illicit cargo the hissing dies out; slowly unraveling the foil he looks about as his breath frosts before him.
Swearing off the smuggling business Osiel promised to change his line of work from now on.

Freelancer is my most favourite game of all time and have no quams playing for a bare minimum of an hour a day. Normally I come online in the afternoons for most of the week days but on Tuesday and Thursday I usually play in the morning at least. The weekends, nearly the entire time I'm playing a game of some sort. Yes I check the forums regularly, it is my filler for when I'm trading by myself.
