Clarification of Premise

You know, I originally didn't read anything, but then I did, and I have to say, what hypocrisy. So lets talk about what I'm talking about here...

First off, don't listen to the extreme lunacies of the monkey-avatar-ed man. If you want to see how I make money, I have an account called "Transports" and this is what it looks like. Admittedly, I have two pirates in here as well since I didn't know where else to put them, but you'll notice the only one in Galileo is a Barghest which I take into Shikoku to attack shipping going to Kepler. If you want to pirate me, I don't really care. Go ahead. Those numbers are hundreds of millions of credits. I won't mind losing some if a pirate has earned them after an interaction, but I will always RP the interaction with you. You can ask that Union Corse who tried to pirate me in Burgundy this afternoon.

Secondly, I'm not here to ruin anyone's fun. I'm not here to be a jerk. I want to have fun just like you. But for some reason, you think that your fun of farming NPCs in the corner of Sirius takes precedence over my fun of playing a Mercenary hunting you. I don't think that. I think both our fun is equal. I think that we should both have fun in the interaction we share. We should both make choices we want to make in a challenging situation. This is where the fun comes from. I'm your antagonist and you're my antagonist. We both want to win and we will both make choices to try and win. I don't think I denied you those choices. I don't want to be a jerk and kill you under unreasonable odds. Those Belial turrets really hurt, man. I don't want to make you unhappy as a player. I apologized to an SCRA who had caused me much grief today because I said something I really shouldn't have. No hard feelings. Just business.

Thirdly, I'm not a "lolwut." I know RP very well. I'm not just some trigger happy Mercenary. You guys fired first at NPCs. What kind of impression does this give to me? You're not at all interested in paying attention to me. You're not even interested in me when I shoot at you. All you want to do is shoot NPCs. Afterwards, I engaged in some nice RP with someone who called me a money whore. That was neat. I liked that. It was fun. If only that same vigor had been invested into the initial RP, I don't think this thread would be here.

Fourthly, I broke no rules. I made RP before the engagement. Admittedly, it was somewhat short, because quite frankly I did my part. It's your turn. I don't have to tell you who bountied you or whether or not there is a bounty on you. I have to RP with you. I did. I roleplayed. There was a bounty on you. I broke no rules.

Look to yourself for better RP before looking to others. I did my part. A Bomber shooting a UA 8 Transport cannot kill it very quickly. Even if I was shooting you, you had time. But I was met with "Pew pew NPCs!" Quite frankly, I resent being called a "lolwut" by someone complaining that I didn't tell him a story about a princess before I shot him.

Let me ask you a question:

Does "Yes" and then shooting NPCs really give the impression that you're interested in actually continuing that RP?

To be honest, you had plenty of time to respond. As a transport pilot with an Armor VIII, I feel really comfortable responding to people when under fire. Probably because nothing can kill me while I type.

But that was less important to you than shooting NPCs. You know the Reavers collect on Rogues, I said it was a great night, I followed you for 5k, but for some reason this connection cannot be made. Instead of making that connection, you opened up with all of your Belial Turrets on the closest NPC.

I do not feel any remorse for what I did. I think I began that interaction and I think it could have gone in a great direction if the other party had any interest in pursuing it. However, it stopped there because the second party had no interest whatsoever.
