After hearing the alarms, Ted woke up wondering what was going on. He hobbled over to the bathroom and threw some water on his face to wake himself up. Upon hearing the call to the Pilot Ready Room, he hobbled over to where his cane was sitting and started on his way to the briefing room.

"Oh come on, hurry up you bloody piece of junk." He said as he was in the elevator. Finally, the doors opened and he was on the wrong deck. "Stupid computer. I said Pilot Ready Room not engineering control room." This time when the doors swung open, the elevator was at the right place.

When he walked into the room, it was clear he was relying heavily on his cane today."Ted Sanford reporting, sir." He said as he took a seat in one of the empty seats and leaned forward resting on his cane.
