I can take 10min to sit down and write a 1 page forum post that basically ends in a Cap request...
Does that in any way form show that once I get ingame I am not just going to LULCAP my way into problems?..
I think what he was looking for was, "RP in-game to show that you actually know whats going on, that your not just in it for ZOMG PVPS!".. Obviously this is conditional as well as someone can RP their way there and then not give a crap afterwards... I am simply saying that I beleive this is what he was getting at.
Many people's RP I do not personally "like".. but I can say that they do infact RP. Isnt that the idea of RP.. to be creative, and to cause friction and drama between factions so that the game is fun and interesting...
So I would say in terms of his post.. it is not a liking/disliking.. It is more a contrast to RP or no-rp?
Well you kind of made my point for me. I RP Yorktown as a pain in the butt to all, even [LN]. But i always RP,and always stay out of snub fight's(unless ordered to help). Now if i RP'd that way trying to get a dread? Good rp,or bad RP would matter not. They would be bias cause i pissed them off,and deny me a dread. Same go's if i already had it?(per the supposed new rules) they would take it away.
That is power no factions should have. Also alot do not want to waste money on a Fighter>gunboat>cruiser>battlecruiser>dread. They want to save, and just get a dread. How they play it AFTER they get it can be punished as per sanction's,and FR5's. Thats what we have, and thats all we need. Just look in sanctions. A whole group were just banned from caps for miss use. That proves current system does work.
