Sebastian sat at his workshop, set up with permission from the IMG on Java. It was a small area, more like personal quarters with a desk and some comupters, but it didn't need to be overly large, given his work. He had created his bombers' gunner AI here. He had also programmed the various AI units he'd installed into the LNS gunboat he maintained here too.

But, it was too small for his next project. That's why he'd snuck into Gallia to purchase a liner. It was a real rust bucket, but it was just what he needed. Still, he couldn't keep something that large in the Taus, it'd be a sitting duck for the 'casts. Heck, they'd already blown it apart once by the time he'd found a crew willing to head out into the rest of Sirius to gather any research data on AI units that he could.

But, it'd been successful. The research had granted him exactly what he'd needed to finish the GOLEM project: an AI created from the brainwaves of a person, capable of emulating their personallity and retaining their memories. All he needed now was a vessel to mount this on.

He'd already eyed up a ship type, though getting his hands on one would prove to be difficult. He'd determined from his experiences and the feedback data of the LNS-Wolfcrest that the ship he needed was a Lane Hacker gunboat. No others had the size and computational power needed to house an AI of this complexity.

And so, he'd programmed the Wolfcrest to actively retrieve Hacker Gunboat components and store them at a warehouse he'd hired out on Liberty. Then, either he or the liner would pick up the parts and ship them to Java, ready to put onto a Colonial transport and shipped to Singapore for repairs.

"Sebastian, this is Dr. Moore. Please respond"

Sebastian picked up the communicator. It was the liner.

"This is Sebastian. What's the situation?"
"The Wolfcrest's bagged another one. We're looking at what it's collected, and it looks like we have enough parts now to finish the project."
"Excellent news. Deliver the parts to Java, I'll prepare the next transport."

Sebastian switched over to the Colonial frequencies.

"This is Lt. Wolfe, I'll need a transport at Java ready to go in 10 minutes. Orders are to pickup some ship components and myself for delivery to Singapore. Codeword: Golem."

Closing the line, he smirked to himself. This was what he'd been waiting for. Time to get to work.
