The Spyglass is close to the size of a Marduk. It's a heavily unlawful ship which also means it has to stay within fields most of the time to avoid a lawful assault.

The two possible paths for the HF's Spyglass from Vespucci take it into the western ice asteroid field in Magellan or a guard system which has a system spanning asteroid field. Hard to avoid taking it through such a zone if those are the only paths for it to take.

That's pretty much what I already said... twice I think. Hopefully he reads it this time. But yes what he says^
